The County of San Luis Obispo, California, is seeking a vendor to provide Functional Family Therapy services to youth and their families. This program serves as a short-term intervention for youth aged eleven to eighteen who have been referred by the County for behavioral or emotional problems. The agency requires a strength-based model built on acceptance and respect to motivate individuals and families to become more adaptive and successful. The selected vendor must implement all aspects of the Functional Family Therapy program, including staffing, training, supervision, and fidelity monitoring. The scope of work requires delivering all services face-to-face and engaging with the Functional Family Therapy organization for consultation, supervision, and training. Meetings with the family and youth must occur face-to-face for at least one and a half hours per week, with an additional thirty minutes for phone and collateral contact, and another thirty minutes for assessment and case planning. The agency requires the vendor to provide these services in coordination with families at convenient times and locations, including evenings and weekends. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. Although the performance of the work will occur offsite from the county offices, the services themselves must be delivered face-to-face to the participating families. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 1, 2026.
