Point-Of-Sale Solution

The Sheriff's Office is seeking a turnkey, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliant point-of-sale solution to record and process various payment types. The agency needs to solve the problem of tracking and depositing payments tendered at each register directly into the agency's bank account. The system must process United States currency, personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, debit card transactions, and credit card transactions. The scope of work covers the provision of all necessary hardware, including servers, desktop computers, and registers, along with applications and underlying third-party software. The agency requires data migration services, customized programming services, configuration, integration, operating materials and supplies, support, maintenance, and training. The contract period for this project will be for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed specific evaluation criteria or key dates in the project description.
