Business Attraction Consultant Services

The City of Trenton, New Jersey, requires business attraction consultant services to draw high-quality, signature businesses to a designated commercial corridor. The agency is seeking to build upon a previously conducted demand study, which included a survey of at least 400 local residents and workers, to actively recruit targeted businesses to the area. This initiative aims to fill approximately 40 identified vacant commercial spaces along State Street, about half of which are currently move-in ready. The selected contractor must continue outreach to targeted businesses using and modifying the established Year 1 prospect lists to bring these enterprises to Trenton. The scope of work includes updating and expanding the existing commercial property inventory and assessing or producing recruitment materials, such as direct mail postcards, letters, and social media ads, as necessary. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency is requesting budget proposals from interested parties rather than providing a pre-determined budget limit. The contract period will span one year, and the agency requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 26, 2026.
