Fabrication of Architectural Signs Services

The North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, North Carolina, is seeking a vendor to fabricate, deliver, and install custom architectural signage. The agency needs to replace existing signage components and install a new location map carrier to improve visitor navigation. The project requires specific fabrication materials and dimensions to match the existing aesthetic of the facility. The scope of work covers two primary deliverables. First, the agency requires one double-sided location map carrier consisting of a seventy-two-inch high by fifty-two-inch wide by eight-inch deep fabricated aluminum cabinet with an F-track retainer to hold three-eighths-inch thick alumicore panels on both sides. This carrier must include two internally mounted four-inch by four-inch by six-foot-six-inch steel posts for direct burial, complete with six-inch by six-inch by twelve-inch post covers. Second, the agency requires one Komodo silhouette to replace the sea lion on the current entrance sign. This component must be a thirty-eight-inch by twenty-three-and-a-half-inch, half-inch-thick aluminum plate. The agency will install this plate to the rear of the cabinet at thirty inches high using a two-inch by two-inch aluminum channel. Only United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must perform the fabrication work offsite at their own office locations before delivery and installation.
