The government authority located in Durham, North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive occupational health and safety technical services. The agency needs a robust framework for response operations that protects personnel, meets applicable international standards, and supports the safe deployment, management, and demobilization of staff and consultants. This initiative aims to solve the critical problem of ensuring personnel safety during high-risk deployments through structured health protocols and risk mitigation. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform an initial assessment and gap analysis. The vendor must establish an infection prevention and control framework that includes risk categorization based on exposure, required controls, hand hygiene, workplace controls across various settings, and management of heat stress and physiological hazards. Additionally, the project covers the creation of an occupational health training program and an outbreak response readiness program featuring pre-deployment requirements, informed consent frameworks, and vaccination policies. In-service occupational health and safety procedures must also be developed, focusing on daily health monitoring, symptom and exposure reporting, and oversight responsibilities. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of all work to be conducted offsite.
