Qualified Engineering and Coastal Resiliency Consulting Services

The City of Saco, Maine, is seeking a qualified engineering and coastal resiliency consultant to conduct a comprehensive Coastal Resiliency Study. The municipality needs to address vulnerabilities within its public sewer, stormwater, drinking water, and associated pumping infrastructure. This study will help the local government prepare its critical water infrastructure for climate-related hazards and long-term environmental changes. The requested scope of work covers project management, an existing conditions assessment, a climate hazard assessment, and a hydraulic evaluation. The selected consultant must also perform a resiliency alternatives analysis and develop adaptation and capital improvement planning. All project work must be performed onsite at the municipal facilities in Saco, Maine. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity. The agency is requesting detailed cost proposals from qualified bidders to establish the budget for this undertaking.
