The issuing agency is seeking a qualified auditor to conduct a comprehensive financial audit and express professional opinions on its financial statements. The agency needs to ensure its financial reporting complies with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Government Auditing Standards, and Georgia state requirements. The selected auditor must also adhere to Uniform Guidance for federal awards and all applicable Governmental Accounting Standards Board pronouncements. The scope of work requires the auditor to examine and express opinions on governmental activities, business-type activities, aggregate remaining fund information, and aggregate discretely presented component units. The project also covers auditing the statement of net position, the statement of activities, all related note disclosures, and required supplementary information. The agency expects the auditor to perform all necessary work offsite to issue the required reports under these standards.
