Affordable Housing Design, Financing, Development and Management Service

The City of South Miami, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to design, finance, develop, and manage a mixed-income affordable housing development on agency-owned real property. The agency is attempting to solve the shortage of affordable housing by creating a development that integrates multiple income levels. The project covers the construction of at least fifty affordable housing units allocated for households earning between forty and fifty percent of the Area Median Income, alongside housing opportunities for households earning above fifty percent of the Area Median Income. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite in South Miami. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The agency will host a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 16, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than July 24, 2026.
