Biohazard Cleanup and Remediation Services

The City of Yuma, Arizona, is seeking a vendor to provide as-needed biohazard cleanup and remediation services to maintain the cleanliness and safety of city-owned properties and public areas. The agency needs to address incidents involving human feces, urine, blood, other bodily fluids, blood-contaminated bulk items, used needles and sharps, and other potentially infectious materials. The selected contractor must handle human waste cleanup through assessment, containment, removal, disinfection, and deodorization to restore each site to a sanitary condition. The scope of work covers the removal and disposal of contaminated bulk items such as mattresses, bedding, tents, clothing piles, couches, chairs, cushions, foam pads, carpets, rugs, pallets, and large debris. The agency requires the contractor to handle these items as biohazards and manage all waste handling, transport, and disposal through approved channels. All performance of the work must occur onsite at the designated locations within Yuma. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the designated online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
