The agency is seeking to solve the problem of dirt, dust, debris, and grime accumulation on its floors, walls, and doors. The requested scope of work covers specific floor care procedures, wall dusting, and spot cleaning of entryways. For floor maintenance, the agency requires dust mopping or commercial vacuuming with a soft floor attachment to remove all debris. Workers must clean floors using a well-wrung microfiber mop with a neutral pH cleaner mixed with water, and perform machine scrubbing using an automatic scrubber with a red pad or soft brush. The scope also includes sweeping with a soft bristle broom using only a pH-neutral cleaner, wiping away residue kicked up onto baseboards after buffing, and rapidly cleaning and rinsing spills. Wall and door maintenance requires dusting walls from the top down with a microfiber cloth or long-handled duster before applying any liquid, followed by wiping with a clean microfiber cloth or soft sponge. Workers must spot clean doors, door glass, handles, and door frames to remove dirt, cobwebs, mold, graffiti, grease, marks, stains, smears, and other foreign substances. The agency limits eligibility to onshore United States organizations only. The performance of all custodial work must take place onsite at the Willimantic facility.
