Geotechnical Civil Engineering Services

The Leon County Research and Development Authority in Tallahassee, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide geotechnical civil engineering services. The authority requires field sampling, field testing, laboratory testing, and engineering evaluations to render professional opinions and reports. A Registered Professional Engineer must perform these evaluations and author the resulting reports. The scope of work also covers the design of road base and subgrade improvements, embankment stabilization, and erosion control. Additionally, the selected vendor will design methods for sediment removal from natural water bodies or constructed stormwater management facilities. The authority will manage the project tasks through an administrative process to issue specific work assignments. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The authority expects the performance of the work to occur offsite. The authority is looking for budget proposals from bidders to establish the cost of the contract.
