Historic Exhibit Advisory, Design, Production, Fabrication and Installation Services

The Salt Lake City government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive historic exhibit advisory, design, production, fabrication, and installation services. The agency needs to solve the challenge of transforming a space on the third floor of the City and County Building into an engaging historical display. The selected provider will develop conceptual exhibit layouts, manage spatial planning, determine visitor flow, and create design renderings, mood boards, and visual identity concepts. The scope of work requires the vendor to determine the media approach, which includes graphics, digital interactives, artifacts, and audio. The provider must present multiple design concepts for city review and refine the selected concept into a full design package under the direction of a city designee and relevant stakeholders. Additionally, the vendor must fabricate exhibit structures, construct structural components according to approved drawings, and build custom cases, mounts, platforms, and exhibit furniture. The project also covers graphic production, requiring the vendor to prepare final print files, produce printed graphics and signage, and finalize high-resolution graphics on specified materials. The vendor must schedule the installation, deliver and stage all components on the third floor of the City and County Building, and install the structures, graphics, lighting, cases, and audiovisual elements. Finally, the provider must conduct a walkthrough with city representatives for final approval and deliver maintenance instructions, documentation, and digital files for the archive. Eligibility is restricted to onshore vendors located within the United States. The performance of the work must take place onsite in Salt Lake, Utah. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
