Bunkroom Remodel Project Services

The City of Dubuque, Iowa is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive bunkroom remodel project services for an existing second-floor facility. The agency needs to modernize its current layout by removing plumbing fixtures, walls, doors, ceilings, and tile flooring in the existing group shower and restrooms. Additionally, the project requires the removal of existing lockers, integral bases, and one fire pole, along with the secure enclosing of the associated floor opening. The scope of work covers the construction of new individual shower and restrooms in the location of the former restrooms, as well as new individual sleeping rooms in the locations of the former bunkrooms and locker room. The selected contractor must perform upgrades to the existing hot water system and install all electrical, lighting, and fire alarm devices associated with the new construction. All physical work must be performed onsite at the facility in Dubuque. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 25, 2026.
