Motor Coach Bus Charter Transportation Services

The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority is seeking motor coach bus charter transportation services for its athletic department teams, students, and personnel. The agency needs reliable transportation from its campuses to various off-campus locations, primarily utilizing motor coach buses unless otherwise agreed in writing. This procurement aims to solve the agency's need for safe, comfortable, and well-equipped travel for athletic events and special agency activities. The requested scope of work requires clean, orderly buses in excellent overall condition with sufficient storage space for luggage and athletic equipment. Each vehicle must feature adequate security protection for onboard property, functional heating and air-conditioning, working interior lighting, operational audio/visual equipment, and free Wi-Fi for multiple mobile devices. Contractors must also provide first aid supplies, fire extinguishers, and relevant safety training on each vehicle in compliance with applicable regulations, alongside a mandatory twenty-four-hour prior trip confirmation notice. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all transportation services will occur offsite from the contractor's facilities and along designated travel routes. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders to establish the cost of these services. The contract period will span one year from the date of award.
