Telehealth Services

The Harris County Hospital District, doing business as Harris Health System in Houston, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive telephonic telehealth services. The agency requires these services to be delivered by a licensed physician, a nurse practitioner, or a physician's assistant operating under a valid licensed physician. No medical provider on probation or suspension by any state governing medical board may participate in this program. The agency requires the telehealth services to be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. The selected vendor must offer these services in multiple languages and provide a toll-free telephone number for access. The agency also requires the vendor to provide online enrollment and registration for covered members, as well as access via a mobile application. The agency specifies that services must be fully accessible to all employees, including those with disabilities, hearing impairments, and blindness. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals. Bidders must submit all questions no later than July 1, 2026.
