Asset Management Service

The Town of Comox, British Columbia is seeking a vendor to provide an asset management service. The agency needs to establish policies, procedures, and frameworks to support consistent, risk-informed asset management practices. The project aims to build the internal capacity of staff to effectively implement, maintain, and continuously improve these practices over time. The scope of work covers several key components of the asset management program development. The selected vendor must revise the existing asset management policy and strategy to reflect current practices, define roles and responsibilities, and provide a roadmap for advancing the Town's asset management maturity. The project also requires the development of standardized guidelines and templates for consistent asset condition assessments, alongside data governance and management procedures to maintain data integrity, security, and quality across the asset lifecycle. Finally, the agency requires a final asset management plan endorsed by council and a concise annual performance reporting framework with key performance measures suitable for Council and public reporting. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada only. The performance of the work can take place either onsite or offsite.
