Custodial Services for Branch Library

The Mendocino County Library system is seeking a qualified vendor to provide weekly custodial services for the branch library located in Covelo, California. The agency requires one comprehensive cleaning visit per week to maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment for both the public and staff. The selected provider must perform all work onsite at the library facility. The scope of work covers a variety of routine cleaning tasks to keep the facility in orderly condition. The provider must wash street-level windows on a revolving basis and sweep the immediate area outside the front door. Inside the facility, the required tasks include cleaning the front door and all door handles, dusting and cleaning furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, and countertops, and emptying all wastebaskets, paper recycle bins, and garbage containers. The agency also requires thorough cleaning and sanitization of high-touch surfaces and restrooms. The provider must clean phones, computer screens, and keyboards. Both the employee and public restrooms require thorough cleaning of all fixtures, mirrors, and floors, as well as refilling soap, towel, and toilet paper dispensers as needed. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is contracting for a period of two years. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 30, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this contract.
