Custodial Services for Branch Library

The Mendocino County Library system is seeking a vendor to provide weekly custodial and cleaning services for its branch library located in Covelo, California. The agency requires one service visit per week to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both library staff and the public. This contract will span a fixed period of two years. The scope of work covers both interior and exterior cleaning tasks at the Covelo facility. The selected provider must sweep and dust the area outside the front door, including the ADA ramp, and clean the front door and all facility door handles. Interior duties include dusting and cleaning furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, and countertops, as well as emptying all wastebaskets, paper recycle bins, and garbage containers. The agency also requires floor maintenance, which entails sweeping or dry mopping floors, spot cleaning with a wet mop as needed, and vacuuming floor mats and rugs. Restroom maintenance requires refilling soap, towels, and toilet paper dispensers in both the employee and public restrooms, alongside a thorough cleaning of all restroom fixtures, mirrors, and floors. Additionally, the provider must clean office electronics, specifically phones, computer screens, and keyboards. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. All performance of the work must take place onsite at the Covelo branch library. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally, either via email or through the designated online portal.
