Construction and Demolition Debris Disposal Services

The City of Hialeah, Florida, is seeking a contractor to haul and dispose of construction and demolition debris from the city streets division maintenance yard to a Florida Department of Environmental Protection certified landfill, transfer station, or recycling facility. The agency requires the contractor to assume full responsibility for all debris once it is picked up from the Streets Division. The selected contractor must perform all work offsite at their own facilities and office premises. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all trucking services, roll-off containers, container drop-off and pick-up, hauling, and disposal. The agency requires the contractor's disposal facilities to have calibrated and accurate weight scales on site that are tested and certified by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. The agency is structuring the pricing as a flat rate per cubic yard of construction and demolition waste, which must encompass all associated costs including fuel surcharges and administrative fees. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
