Stop Loss Reinsurance Service

The City of League City, Texas, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Medical and Prescription Drug (Rx) stop loss reinsurance services. This coverage will support the City's self-funded employee medical and prescription health plans, which the agency administers internally. The selected provider must deliver a comprehensive stop loss insurance policy as a core component of the municipal employee benefits program. The scope of work requires the provider to handle all claims administration and deliver high-quality customer service to the City and its employees. The provider must immediately rectify any billing issues related to contract servicing, employees, or the City, while adhering to all applicable regulations and industry standards. Additionally, the provider must allow fair credit for all or any part of deductibles and coinsurance, and deliver monthly claims experience monitoring reports to the City. Eligible bidders must perform all work offsite and operate entirely onshore within the United States. The contract period will span one year, and the City is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 30, 2026.
