Budget Analyst Services

The issuing agency is seeking a vendor to provide budget analyst services to assist in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets and budget document. The selected vendor will monitor actual expenditures and revenues compared to budget projections on a regular basis. The agency also requires the vendor to analyze various budgetary and financial issues and recommend alternative approaches as requested by departments, management, and elected officials. The scope of work covers advising departments and independent agencies in achieving budgetary control and resolving budget problems. The vendor will monitor and review capital and grant program budgets during the program period and at fiscal year-end in order to continue budget authorizations from one fiscal year to the next. Additionally, the vendor will review and authorize budget transfers for compliance with control procedures, prepare and update descriptions of departmental services and programs, and work with departments to allocate costs to the various services and programs. The agency requires all work to be performed onsite. Eligible vendors must be located onshore within the United States.
