Annual Mowing Services

The City of Conroe, Texas requires annual mowing services for all grassy areas within designated parks, facilities, and general common areas. The agency is seeking a contractor to maintain these areas at a mow height between two and three inches, unless otherwise indicated. The scope of work also covers designated public rights-of-way and ditches adjacent to each site. The selected contractor must perform all mowing services between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless the Director or their representative approves otherwise. The agency requires the contractor to assume responsibility for employee behavior and to compensate for or replace any City property damaged during the work. Additionally, the contractor must provide a valid telephone or cell phone number that is answered at all times during normal working hours. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States and must perform all work onsite. The agency requires the contractor to keep a supervisor on site at all times who can communicate in the English language. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. The agency will host a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 13, 2026.
