The government authority in Sacramento, California is seeking after-hours janitorial services. The agency needs a contractor to clean and disinfect its facilities, including specific instructions for plexiglass, portable handwashing sinks, and various hard surfaces. This work must be performed onsite at the Sacramento location. The scope of work requires cleaning plexiglass with clean microfiber cloths and a neutral cleaner, and disinfecting it with products free of alcohols, solvents, or ammonia-based compounds. The contractor must clean and disinfect the interior and exterior of portable handwashing sinks using non-abrasive tools and chemicals. Additionally, the service includes emptying, rinsing, cleaning, and disinfecting wastewater holding tanks, as well as rinsing, cleaning, disinfecting, and refilling freshwater tanks to capacity in the janitor closet sink. The selected provider must refill paper towel and handwashing soap dispensers to capacity. The agency requires the cleaning and disinfection of all hard surfaces and fixtures, including handles, doorknobs, levers, faucets, water closets, toilet seats and lids, urinals, washbasins, receptacles, and dispensers. This cleaning extends to areas around the bases of toilets and urinals, corners, edges, under sinks, partition legs, and exposed pipes. The work also covers cleaning and disinfecting signs, work counters, workstation modules, public counters, stanchion ropes and stands, testing tables, file cabinets, bookcases, appliances, keyboards, touchscreens, printers, monitors, phones, lockers, vending machines, and walls. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will run for one year.
