Athletic Complex Construction Services

The Town of Washington, Rhode Island is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive athletic complex construction services. The agency requires the installation of a new artificial turf field at the main stadium, which includes drainage, irrigation, track repair, athletic equipment, and associated improvements. A second stadium area will also receive a new artificial turf field, drainage, stormwater management, irrigation, athletic equipment, and associated improvements. The scope of work further entails installing new concrete slabs and bleachers at both the baseball and softball fields. At the new second stadium, the contractor must install new concrete foundations, bleachers, a press box, fencing, infrastructure for future lighting, and associated improvements. The agency also requires reconfiguring, grading, drainage, athletic equipment, and associated improvements for the practice fields. The project requires site preparation, table-top elevation, utility services, and associated improvements for a future sixty-thousand square foot building. The contractor must perform rough and finish grading, stormwater management, asphalt paving, concrete paving, sidewalks, landscaping, site lighting, and associated improvements. Existing systems must remain in operation during construction unless noted otherwise. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be offsite, meaning the contractor must carry out the work at their own office premises. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 15, 2026.
