The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration is seeking a vendor to provide International Registration Plan audit services to verify registrant compliance with plan requirements and Maryland laws. This initiative aims to validate mileage, fleet, and registration data, verify the accuracy of fees, ownership, and lease records, and assess internal controls. The selected vendor must perform audit planning by developing a detailed work plan and audit schedule, as well as coordinating registrant selection for agency approval. During audit execution, the vendor will perform pre-audit procedures, notify registrants, review records, and validate distance reports using sampling or full audits. The scope also covers conducting fieldwork, data testing, and identifying any discrepancies, errors, or non-compliance. Only United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity.
