Clinical Molecular Analyzer Services

The Department of Mental Health, located in Westborough, Massachusetts, is seeking clinical molecular analyzer services to perform on-campus testing of select viruses, bacteria, and sexually transmitted infections. The agency requires a Reagent Rental Agreement model to secure the necessary testing equipment and supplies. This initiative aims to establish reliable, on-site diagnostic capabilities for Covid-19, Strep, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Influenza A and B, Bacterial Vaginosis, and Candida vaginitis. The scope of work covers the provision of the analyzer and all reagents required to process various specimen sources. For sexually transmitted infections, the instrument must support vaginal, endocervical, throat, urine, and rectal specimen sources. The selected provider must also deliver professional services, including on-site training for all staff, an instrument validation plan, and validation samples. Ongoing support requirements include routine preventive maintenance and emergency service with a maximum response time of twenty-four hours, excluding holidays. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. All performance of the work must take place onsite at the Westborough facility.
