Professional Architectural Services

The Essex County government authority in New Jersey is seeking professional architectural services to prepare preliminary design documents. The agency requires a design-development package that provides adequate information for design-build teams to utilize when preparing proposals and pricing construction costs. This project aims to resolve site planning and building design needs prior to the construction phase. The selected architect will develop two to three site layout alternatives based on programmatic information, known site constraints, and vehicular circulation considerations. The scope of work also requires the creation of building massing plans that depict the programming information. Additionally, the architect must prepare floor plans depicting desired and approximate overall building dimensions, building footprints, core elements, corridors, vertical circulation, and basic finishes. The agency requires all performance of the work to occur onsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 26, 2026.
