Advanced Metering Infrastructure Replacement Services

The City of Irving is seeking advanced metering infrastructure replacement services to establish a comprehensive, integrated, and fully supported AMI solution. The agency needs to achieve complete AMI coverage for all water meters and endpoints in its service area, ensuring the secure and reliable collection of hourly interval and daily register consumption data. This project solves the need for modernizing utility data collection by replacing existing water meters with solid-state meters and new endpoints, retrofitting remaining meters with new endpoints, and deploying a customer portal for account access. The scope of work requires a turnkey Software-as-a-Service solution for both deployment and ongoing operations. The selected contractor must provide cloud-based hosting for a Production Head End and a dedicated Test Head End, while managing software releases, patching, testing, disaster recovery, backups, and standard reports. The agency requires seamless integration of all installation data with the City of Irving's billing and work order management systems, alongside contractual obligations for system read rates throughout the contract term. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
