Insurance Broker Services

The Orange County Sanitation District in Fountain Valley, California is seeking comprehensive insurance broker, risk management, and advisory services. The agency requires these services to protect over $2.4 billion in insured property values, while managing self-insured underground pipes throughout the county. The selected consultant will assist with processing insurance claims, procuring certificates of insurance, and supporting Enterprise Risk Management initiatives. The scope of work covers strategic risk management advisory services, including risk identification, risk financing analysis, emerging risk evaluation, and executive-level risk reporting. The agency also requires advisory services related to property valuation, catastrophe exposure analysis, infrastructure risk, insurer engineering coordination, and business continuity planning. Additionally, the consultant must provide claims advocacy, annual benchmarking against comparable public utilities, and insurance advisory services for construction and capital improvement projects. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected partner will perform all work offsite over a contract period of one year. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and requires all questions to be submitted no later than July 13, 2026.
