On-Demand Transportation Services

The Town of Miami Lakes, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide continuous, turnkey, on-demand transportation services to improve mobility for residents, employees, and visitors. The agency aims to connect residential neighborhoods with commercial districts, parks, civic facilities, and other key destinations while supporting its sustainability and quality-of-life goals. The selected provider must deliver a complete system encompassing vehicles, drivers, dispatch and routing technology, customer service support, fleet maintenance, operations management, marketing, outreach, and ridership reporting. The scope of work requires operating a minimum fleet of four vehicles, including at least one ADA-accessible vehicle, for an initial six-month evaluation period with the potential to expand based on demand. The service must function as a point-to-point system utilizing a demand-responsive mobility platform that supports real-time ride requests, automated scheduling, dispatching, and dynamic routing. This technology platform must provide riders with estimated arrival times via a mobile application, offer real-time GPS vehicle tracking, and supply agency staff with a dashboard to monitor performance, vehicle locations, and ridership trends. The agency requires the vendor to provide live customer service support during all operating hours. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and all work must be performed onsite within the agency jurisdiction. The agency is currently looking for budget proposals to fund a contract period of three years. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 14, 2026, to discuss the project requirements.
