The City of Hampton, Georgia is seeking demolition services to completely clear a site on Main Street and restore it to a clean, graded, erosion-controlled condition ready for future construction. The project addresses the need to remove all existing structures, including the basement at 26 East Main Street, foundations, floors, walls, roofs, stairs, interior partitions, and all above-grade and below-grade elements described in the Pond Report and existing conditions drawings. The selected contractor must also remove all existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment, fixtures, piping, ductwork, conduit, and service entrances. The scope of work requires the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, insurance, bonds, supervision, and incidentals necessary for the project. The contractor must backfill all excavations, including the basement, with approved compacted structural fill or granular material to match the surrounding finished grades. Additionally, the project covers site clearing, final grading, and the installation of erosion and sediment control measures such as silt fences, straw bales, and seeding or mulching to stabilize the site until redevelopment begins. Eligibility is restricted to onshore US organizations, and all performance of the work must take place onsite. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-proposal site visit and informational meeting on July 15, 2026. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 24, 2026.
