Architectural and Engineering Services

The government authority located in New Kent, Virginia is seeking architectural and engineering services to design a new County courthouse project. The facility is expected to be between 60,000 and 70,000 square feet to accommodate increased staff and departmental growth. The selected provider must design, document, coordinate, and assist the County with compliance throughout the design, procurement, construction, and closeout phases. The scope of work covers the preparation and review of certification or compliance documentation, as well as coordination with the County, permitting officials, the construction contractor or construction manager, and any third-party commissioning agent. The project requires utility metering and submetering strategies, zero-emission vehicle charging or fueling infrastructure where appropriate, and renewable energy, energy storage, energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and resilience features. All performance of the work must take place onsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
