La Costa Ave Pedestrian Project Services

The City of Encinitas, California is seeking a vendor to provide pedestrian project services along La Costa Avenue. The project aims to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility by resolving right-of-way encroachments and upgrading existing infrastructure. The selected contractor will remove private improvements and landscaping that encroach upon the public right-of-way. The scope of work requires the construction of new ADA-compliant curb ramps and a retaining wall, the replacement of driveways, and the installation of a modular wetland. The contractor must also adjust and relocate utilities as necessary to accommodate the new infrastructure. Additionally, the project involves re-striping the south side of La Costa Avenue to shift the existing bike lane south, replacing the current pedestrian path adjacent to the asphalt concrete berm, and converting the old bike lane into a bike lane buffer. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work must take place onsite in Encinitas.
