Electrical and Sign Installation Services

The Capital Region Development Authority in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive electrical and sign installation services. The authority requires these services to maintain, upgrade, and secure its transportation and traffic infrastructure. Performance of all contracted work must take place onsite at designated locations within the Hartford area. The scope of work covers traffic control services, including uniformed flaggers, police officers, truck or trailer-mounted attenuators, and all necessary traffic control devices. Specific technical tasks include electrical service, telescopic boom crane operations, signal loop detector installation, piezo sensor installation, and sign installation. The selected vendor must also perform traffic signal, highway illumination, and pedestrian crossing signal relamping, as well as install accessible pedestrian push buttons, pedestrian heads, eight-foot pedestals and foundations, span wire, and video detection systems. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The authority is looking for proposals to establish a contract period that will run for three years.
