The government authority located in Storrs, Connecticut, is seeking experienced and qualified certified public accounting firms to provide independent audit services for its infrastructure program. The agency needs a comprehensive audit approach that meets statutory requirements while supporting the university's oversight, reporting, and governance responsibilities. The selected firm will conduct audit services in accordance with applicable agency general statutes, auditing standards, and requirements governing public infrastructure and capital programs. The scope of work requires the development and performance of annual audit procedures for program projects in accordance with applicable statutory requirements. The agency expects the auditor to identify discrepancies, exceptions, areas of non-compliance, and areas for improvement. The contract period will span two years, and the agency will allow the performance of the work to be completed offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore United States organizations only.
