Arbitrage Rebate Compliance Services

The Muskegon County government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide arbitrage rebate compliance services. The agency needs to determine the arbitrage amount under section 148(f)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code and ensure full compliance with all associated regulations. This project addresses the agency's requirement to monitor and calculate rebate liabilities on its investment yields. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform calculations consistent with the Code and its promulgated regulations. The vendor must cooperate fully with the agency to review investment schedules made with obligation proceeds and other funds subject to rebate requirements under treasury regulations section 1.1.48. Additionally, the vendor must deliver a comprehensive report specifying the arbitrage amount, bond yield calculations, investment yield calculations, and any other relevant information. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted onsite in Muskegon, Michigan.
