Wooden Utility Pole Disposal Services

The Power Authority of the State of New York is seeking a vendor to provide wooden utility pole disposal services. The agency needs to safely and legally dispose of surplus or retired wooden utility poles from its inventory. This project addresses the agency's requirement for compliant waste management and environmental stewardship regarding treated wood products. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform all disposal services offsite at the vendor's own facilities. Bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States to be eligible for this contract. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost and structure of the disposal agreement.
