Janitorial Services

The City of Wheaton, Illinois is seeking a full-time, commercially licensed and insured janitorial service provider to perform daily and scheduled seasonal cleaning for all city facilities. The agency needs to maintain clean and sanitary municipal operations through consistent, professional maintenance. The selected provider must perform all work offsite at the designated city facilities for a contract period of one year. Eligible bidders must be USA-based organizations with a minimum of five years of experience in cleaning and janitorial maintenance specifically at municipal operations. Bidders must provide references from at least three commercial facilities and municipalities where they have completed work within the past twelve months. Supervisory personnel must be competent, English-speaking individuals who can communicate with their staff, act as a liaison with city staff, and accept directives from the Facilities Manager. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. Representatives of interested bidding firms must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 14, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 16, 2026.
