Building and Development Review Services

The City of Lago Vista, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide as-needed contract services for building and development reviews. The municipality requires support to handle fluctuating workloads and ensure compliance with local and national building standards. The selected provider will perform building inspections, plan reviews, floodplain reviews, zoning reviews, local design criteria reviews, and related development code review services. The scope of work covers a comprehensive range of onsite inspection services. These include residential and commercial building, foundation, framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, energy code, and insulation inspections. The provider must also conduct inspections for fire-rated assemblies, pools and spas, accessory structures, remodels, additions, alterations, retaining walls, site-related buildings, certificates of occupancy, re-inspections, and emergency or priority requests. Accurate documentation of all inspection results is a mandatory component of the daily operations. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located within the United States. The city will accept proposal submissions digitally via email or through their online portal. While the agency has not disclosed a specific budget, they are requesting detailed pricing proposals from interested parties. The resulting contract will span a performance period of one year.
