House Rehab Service

The government authority located in Coxsackie, New York is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive house rehabilitation services. The agency requires a complete overhaul of a residential property to address aging infrastructure, improve safety, and modernize the living spaces. Building abatement has already been completed, clearing the way for the physical rehabilitation work to begin. The scope of work covers extensive interior and exterior renovations over a one-year contract period. Requested interior work includes refinishing all hardwood floors and stairs, repairing or replacing basement stairs, securing stair banisters, and painting walls and ceilings alongside various wall and ceiling repairs. The selected vendor must also perform a complete kitchen rehabilitation with new flooring and cabinets, install new light fixtures inside and outside, and install smoke detectors. System upgrades represent a major portion of the project requirements. The agency is requesting a full HVAC and hot water upgrade with the installation of new oil tanks, electrical work throughout the building including a new panel, and various plumbing repairs and upgrades. Additionally, the project requires the installation of all new windows, exhaust fans in all five bathrooms, and bathroom renovations ranging from minor repairs to complete remodels. Exterior work requires the vendor to inspect the slate roof and make repairs if needed, as well as replace the rear deck. Bidders must perform all work onsite in Coxsackie, New York. Only onshore vendors based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for July 27, 2026. Evaluation of proposals will be based on the submissions received from eligible vendors who attend this mandatory meeting.
