Avenue Bus Shelters Janitorial Services

The Wichita Transit Authority in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its avenue bus shelters. The agency requires a contractor to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of these public transit facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for riders. The selected provider will address issues of litter, spills, graffiti, and general wear at the designated shelter locations. The scope of work covers a variety of daily and periodic cleaning tasks at the concrete pads and inside the shelters. The contractor must empty all exterior trash cans, pick up trash and debris, clean all glass surfaces, and sweep up cigarette butts. Additional responsibilities include wiping down the inside of the shelters and benches, removing gum, cleaning beverage or food spills, and removing any graffiti. The agency is issuing a contract period of one year for these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of all work must take place onsite at the Wichita shelter locations.
