Sidewalk Construction Services

The Town of Hopkinton, Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide sidewalk construction services. The municipality requires the construction of a new hot mix asphalt sidewalk, which must include Americans with Disabilities Act compliant handrails. The project also addresses site preparation and restoration through the removal of existing trees, the placement of loam borrow, and seeding. To complete the site work, the selected contractor must remove and reset gate posts and install a new split rail fence. The scope of work also encompasses other incidental tasks necessary to complete the installation. Because of the physical nature of the construction, the agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted onsite. The agency limits eligibility for this opportunity to onshore organizations based in the United States. The town is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. Interested parties must attend a pre-bid walk-through scheduled for July 08, 2026, and submit all questions regarding the procurement no later than July 09, 2026.
