The Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell, Montana, requires professional architectural and engineering services, along with construction oversight, to completely replace its existing grandstand facility. The agency is seeking to rebuild the grandstand seating structure, covered roof, exhibit hall, and fair offices entirely within the current footprint. This project aims to modernize the venue while maximizing the utility of the space beneath the seating structure for public events. The requested scope of work covers the design of a grandstand seating structure for approximately 3,000 guests, which must include ADA-compliant seating, an upgraded reserved seating area with back supports, a covered roof, VIP or press boxes, arena lighting, cameras, and a potential concession stand. For the space underneath the seating, the design must feature an exhibit hall with raised ceilings, an open-concept layout with minimal support columns, access to the west lawn, and an interior connection to the existing restroom facilities. The selected vendor must perform all architectural, engineering, and construction oversight services onsite in Kalispell. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore, United States organizations. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project, and bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal. All clarifying questions regarding this procurement must be submitted to the agency no later than July 22, 2026.
