Smartphone Application Development Service

The agency is seeking smartphone application development services. The project entails the development and evaluation of a smartphone application targeting the safety and mobility needs of older drivers aged 65 and older. This includes translating research findings into a functional software prototype for both iOS and Android platforms. The scope of work covers user interface and user experience development, creating wireframes and iterative designs optimized for older drivers' cognitive and physical requirements, with attention to distraction during driving. It also includes prototyping and pilot testing, building a functional application prototype and conducting usability testing with older drivers. Furthermore, the project requires research design, developing a detailed Field Operational Test framework with naturalistic driving protocols and regulatory documentation for future performance assessments. Eligibility requires bidders to be an onshore, USA organization only. Performance of the work will be offsite. The agency is looking for proposals.
