Disaster Recovery Services

Cobb County is seeking proposals for disaster recovery services to assist citizens and businesses. The services are required when recommended by Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services and may address damage from fire, explosion, vehicle accidents, or natural disasters. The scope includes board-up of openings, roof covering, temporary fencing, water extraction and mitigation, tree removal, structural stabilization, mold prevention, structural drying, water and sewage extraction and decontamination, winterization, contents care, displaced pet care or boarding, packing, moving, and content storage, emergency cleaning and deodorization, and temporary power and generators. The agency requires a 1-hour and 15-minute maximum response time after acceptance of a request, with an ETA provided within ten minutes. Services are to be provided at no cost to the property owner or the County, with billing directed to the homeowner or business's insurance companies. Bidders must be licensed to conduct business in Cobb County and its cities. The work will be performed onsite. Bidders must submit a minimum of three references for similar job scopes, including contact information, company name, phone number, email, dates of service, and a brief description of services. All questions must be submitted via the eProcurement Portal by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Proposals are due by 12:00 PM (noon) on Thursday, August 13, 2026, and must be submitted digitally via the County's eProcurement Portal. The contract period will be for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore (USA Only) entities. The agency is looking for proposals and has not specified a budget. Subcontractors must comply with federal work authorization programs and provide necessary affidavits and certifications to Cobb County.
