Medical Waste Removal and Disposal Service

The agency is seeking medical waste removal and disposal services for its government authority located in Raleigh, NC. This service is critical to mitigate disease transmission risks to laboratory staff, waste management workers, and the general community. The facilities handle biological agents requiring Biosafety containment protocols, encompassing a range of hazards and precautions. The project covers the secure and professional removal and disposal of waste generated in the diagnosis, treatment, or immunization of human or animal beings, research pertaining thereto, and the production or testing of biologicals. This includes laboratory waste, blood, body fluids, tissues, sharps, and chemotherapeutic waste. Performance of the work will be onsite. Bidders must be a US-based organization only. The contract period will be two years. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 29, 2026, and all questions must be submitted no later than July 31, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals.
