Teaching English with Technology Course Service- Budget - Up to 65,000 USD

The agency is seeking proposals for the development and delivery of an online, university-level Global Online Course on Teaching English with Technology. The course aims to increase understanding of priorities and perspectives, enhance the impact participants have on their home communities, create markets for American products and ideas, strengthen engagement among participants and institutions, and build personal, professional, and technical abilities. The course will explore how technology supports English language teaching and learning across various educational contexts, focusing on enhancing communication, collaboration, assessment, accessibility, learner engagement, and learner autonomy. It will address multimodal communication, adapting technology to different teaching contexts, and the responsible use of emerging technologies, including generative artificial intelligence. The scope of work includes developing an eight-module asynchronous online course. Bidders must demonstrate understanding of key principles of technology-assisted language learning, apply responsible online use practices, design and adapt technology-enhanced language learning materials, use technology to facilitate communication and engagement, develop technology-supported assessment and feedback activities, use generative AI tools critically and effectively, evaluate and integrate educational technologies, and reflect on their own technology use and teaching practices to develop a plan for sharing knowledge. The performance of the work will be offsite. Eligibility is restricted to U.S. organizations only. The budget for this opportunity is up to $65,000 USD.
