Medical Revenue Cycle Management, Medical Billing, Coding, Insurance Follow-Up Collections and Accounts Receivable Management Services

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive medical revenue cycle management services. This includes medical billing, coding, insurance follow-up collections, and accounts receivable management for UT Health RGV. The agency requires end-to-end revenue cycle services, with an emphasis on experience in local, regional, and national academic health insurance billing and collections. The project covers the management of coding, billing, insurance follow-up, collections, denials, and accounts receivable for professional fees. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage these processes for academic physician practice settings, including experience with standard of care determinations and clinical fee-for-service billing for multiple specialties in both inpatient and outpatient environments. All coders must maintain a minimum coding accuracy level of 95%, and a plan for coder replacement within one week must be established. The contractor will also provide quarterly coding education sessions for coders and interested providers. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to Onshore (USA Organization Only) entities. The performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The agency is looking for proposals and has not specified a budget range. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 30, 2026.
