Debris Collection, Disposal, and Monitoring Services

The San Diego Unified Port District requires debris collection, disposal, and monitoring services. The scope includes moving, covering, or protecting structures or equipment that may be damaged during marine debris removal. Marine debris encompasses trash, litter, organic material, logs, timbers, and mammal carcasses. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis, requiring a Task Authorization before any work commences. Eligibility is restricted to onshore entities within the USA. The contract period is one year. Questions are due by August 17, 2026, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 13, 2026. The District is seeking proposals.
