Waterline Replacement Project Service

The Wayne County Airport Authority seeks a vendor to provide waterline replacement project services at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport in Wayne, MI. The buyer requires decommissioning and abandonment in place of the existing 4-inch galvanized waterline serving Evans Terminal. The winning vendor will complete phased installation and routing of a new 4-inch copper waterline, connect the line to existing branch lines, perform selective modifications to ceilings and interior partitions, and execute work in multiple phases to maintain terminal operations. Performance occurs onsite over a one-year contract period. The buyer limits eligibility to USA onshore vendors. Evaluation criteria and proposal requirements will appear in the forthcoming RFP. The anticipated construction cost is expected not to exceed $5 million, and the buyer currently seeks proposals. The buyer plans to issue the RFP on the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network website in the third quarter of 2026, with an anticipated availability in September 2026. Vendors must submit electronic responses through the website.
